WAFER TYPE PTFE BUTTERFLY VALVE – PTFE & PFA LINING

WAFER TYPE PTFE BUTTERFLY VALVE- PTFE & PFA Lining

FOR HIGHLY CORROSIVE MEDIA

KTN, VAMEIN, FERGO

Range: DN50 – DN300

Pressure: PN10

Maximum temperature: -40ºC / 200ºC

The PTFE-lined butterfly valves are used to safely shut off and control highly aggressive and corrosive media in the chemical industry. The PTFE-lined butterfly valves have been developed with a minimum of 3 mm thick PTFE lining to ensure an optimum level of protection.The PTFE-lined butterfly valves are available in wafer and flanged versions with connections of PN10/16/150lbs from DN50-DN300. The PTFE-lined butterfly valves can be controlled by a hand lever, pneumatic actuator, and electric actuator.

As it is a model made to be assembled between flanges, the mechanical stresses of the pipe are transmitted to the valve only by compression on the body and therefore it lacks tensile mechanical stresses, which could cause sealing problems.

This model is designed to transport corrosive and aggressive fluids. Intermediate flange PTFE lined butterfly valve DN 40, connection PN10/PN16/ANSI 150, body made of EN-GSJ-500-7 (GGG50) ductile cast iron, disc made of (CF8M) stainless steel, PFA + PTFE lined, seal made of PTFE with free shaft, Pneumatic and electric actuator
